As a physician who has not been in the MC-FP process thus far, you will be required to complete the MC-FP Entry process to qualify for the current examination. The MC-FP Entry process is designed for those physicians who have not been certified and/or who have been out of residency three years or more. The MC-FP points, CME requirements and three (3) process payments (in addition to the examination fee) are prerequisites to sit for the examination. Listed below are the requirements. Completion of the 50 MC-FP points, the 150 CME credits, the three process payments and the medical license are all prerequisites in order to complete the examination.
