Instructions for the Cultural Competency MIMM (activity does not meet PI requirements)

Go to https://cccm.thinkculturalhealth.hhs.gov. This is the host site for the U.S. Department of Health & Human Services: Office of Minority Health.
Click on the "Register Here" button on the right-hand side of the page and follow the instructions to register with the HHS program. Be sure to register for the CME version of the program to assure that you will earn Category 1 CME credit.
Log in to the HHS program using the username and password you created in the registration process.
Upon login, you will see an introduction. Read the introduction and click on "Curriculum Introduction (Part 2 of 3)" at the bottom of the page to proceed. Continue to the Curriculum Overview and then to the Theme 1 Pretest, content, and Post-test. Follow the instructions to complete all three Themes of the course.
Upon completion of all required modules, you may upload your certificate of completion inside your physician portfolio for certification credit.
- Login to your physician portfolio (www.theabfm.org)
- Under "Track Your Progress" section on the right
- Click on "Certification Activities"
- Click on "Access Activities"
- Click on the "Performance Improvement Activities" tab
- Enter "MIMM" in the Search box, then click on the green "View" button
- On the right-hand side, click on the "Upload Certificate of Completion" button
- Enter the Activity End Date
- Upload the Certificate of Completion, which shows all 3 themes completed, by selecting the file and clicking submit
